4th Annual Mentors' Day
Saturday May 9th, 2009 10am-4pm

You are invited to the 4rd Annual “Mentors’ Day” at the Leighton Art Centre. This project was initially conceived to honour the teaching and mentoring legacy that the Leighton Art Centre is built upon and the artists of today who have taken on the important task of passing on their own legacy by teaching others. Join us for this special day which has become an annual spring event at the Leighton Art Centre.

The Mentors presented this year are a wonderful example of the talented teachers found in the Calgary area. The mentors this year are:

• George Alig - watercolour plein air
• Barbara Amos - acrylic
• Angelique Gillespie - sketchbooking
• Jerry Markham - oil plein air
• Jean Pederson - mixed media abstract
• Teresa Posyniak - figure, encaustic
• Doug Swinton - critique

*Coffee, snacks and a light lunch will be provided
*Cost is $50.00 plus GST
