The city has somewhat extended their hand. The mural will be allowed to remain until the end of October at which time we can reapply for a permit. We were told that our application will be denied but we will be allowed to go to the appeal board where our case will be arbitrated. This does not mean we will be granted a permit, only that more city officials will look at it and pass judgment.
I have been contacted by numerous lawyers, one of whom has very kindly offered free council to fight this matter. Another has even taken time from his busy schedule to personally come by the store and go over the entire case with us. Thank you Chris Davis, your generosity is immeasurable. I don't know what will happen now. We have to wait till the end of October to see. Thank you to everyone for voicing your opinion. Your support has been overwhelming.
