Ever had to do a barnecktomy in the middle of a painting? You know, where after two or three days of painting you decide you want the barn in a different spot. If you’re in that far it’s a little too late. Most problems in a painting occur in the first five minutes of a painting and persist until it’s too late to fix them. Start with a well thought out sketch and see how truly fun painting can be.
Learn simple but powerful techniques for better design that lead to dynamic paintings
This 12 -hour workshop is not a how-to draw class, but a lesson on sorting out ideas on paper before painting. Through simple composition, correct perspective and awesome placement of your objects I will show you how to put ZIP in your painting right from the start. You will learn how to make quick and accurate decisions, from the structure of buildings to clouds in perspective.
