Illustrating for Children’s Books

Many painters have thought about illustrating for children, so here is your opportunity to see just what's involved and whether or not it works for you. Be aware - there is something compelling about trying to create a seamless blend of words, concepts and images - it's really fun!

Our workshop will focus on creating a three panel story with illustrations.
We'll work through story development, making a storyboard, creating a dummy, and making final artworks. And there will be lots of discussion and info about how to get that work out to the publishers.
