Drawing for Drawing’s Sake

Do you have a pencil in the bottom of your paint box longing to be used? Ever wanna know what that 2B or 4H means on the end of your pencil? Perhaps you would like to take sketching to the next level. Give me just 6 of your Friday evenings and I will give you the pencil in its entirety. After drawing for almost ever, I can show you the shortcuts and direct route to the finished framed drawing. Who does anything on Friday evening anyway?

Supply List

  • HB woodless pencil
  • 4B woodless pencil
  • Kneaded eraser
  • White eraser, preferably Staedtler
  • Assorted pencils – both H and B series of lead hardness
  • Pad of white cartridge paper 18 X 24”
  • Vellum tracing paper
  • Low tack tape
  • Some photo reference and handouts will be supplied
  • Sketchbook for notes
  • One sheet of Strathmore Bristol 500.
