Doug has the enviable reputation of being one of Canada's premiere outdoor painters. Doug owns and operates Swinton's Art Supplies and teaches many classes in-house. His knowledge of art and his willingness to share this knowledge with students has earned him a reputation as an outstanding artist and instructor. Classes include topics such as colour theory, composition, life drawing, and outdoor painting.

Such expressive brushwork!

The strength of this artist's landscapes cannot be matched! His use of colour and expressive brushwork is fantastic! Wish I could afford to purchase his work...perhaps one day.
