While taking a year to volunteer with the Katimavik (Canada's youth volunteer program), I found my love of children. I was lucky enough to be placed at a school, in Mountainview Ontario, that ranged from grades one thru nine. I worked, assisted and taught one on one with children and teens to help them develop all kinds of learning and life skills. Currently I am attending university, majoring in psychology with the aspirations of getting into art therapy. I hope to use my education to inspire the people around me and to use art for all it can be used for. I've taken 6 years of classes here at Swinton's with various instructors and am very proud to call it my second home. Currently teaching:{Monthly Children's Classes}

I have always found art to be my medium of expression, and I love to paint in oils, watercolours, and inks. My work is mostly figurative, though I do experiment in other subject matter and mediums. Always exploring and trying new things keeps me fresh.
