Date & Time: Saturday, September 30 , 2023, 1:00 - 3:00 pm Media: Alcohol Inks Level: Beginner to Intermediate Instructor: Margaret Van Deist In this class, we'll learn some basics of the inks that are bright and are prone to abstract designs. I have learned through patience how to apply the inks, using rubbing alcohol and the plastic Yupo to make lovely cards, paintings and more. We'll start with an abstract design. No rules, but we'll lay on the darks first, let them set a bit and then continue with splatters, and other colours and create a vivid, glowing piece of art. I will bring several examples of my artwork to give you a taste of this medium. All Supplies Included! Recommended to bring: - Mask - Glasses - Latex gloves (Medical standard, very thin) All students get 10% off at Swinton's!
