(Swinton's Art Supplies) Instructor: Mark Cromwell Level: Beginner to Advanced (Ages 10 and up) Teens & Adults Welcome! Turn your friend into a zombie!  Bring a friend (or a picture of a friend) and learn to draw them from scratch... Then turn them into zombies! And maybe other monsters, too!  This is a very fun way to learn portrait drawing techniques and then apply imagination to elevate our work!   This is a two-day workshop with local professional artist Mark Cromwell. Explore this super-fun art form together and learn to capture a simple likeness in just a few strokes of the pen. We will discuss how to approach caricature in a way that is both fun and challenging. Gain both speed and confidence and learn techniques that will have you enjoying caricature for life. WARNING: After taking this workshop, you may have trouble seeing faces the same way ever again. Supply List: - Your favourite felt-tip markers - Light pencil or pencil crayon - One brush-tip marker or at least a bullet-tip marker (black). - Drawing pad or paper - letter size up to 11 X 17. - Loose sheets are fine, but bring lots!
