Calgary (Swinton's Art Supplies) (In-person workshop) (For Cochrane Art Club only) Instructor: Rion Swinton Let's get you a bigger following while setting you up to showcase your art! Instagram is a wonderful platform with an overwhelming amount of tools you could use to your advantage. With a little guidance, you can learn the main tips and tricks to set yourself up for success. It is all about having a plan and sticking to it. I have laid out some of the most effective ways to advertise, build a following and get you comfortable with posting lots. There is no supply list besides your smartphone and a notepad. You will also leave the class with my note list to reference when you're back at home. We even dive into some more advanced subjects like how to take a good picture, lighting, angles, boosting posts, Facebook Ads Manager, Insights, Highlights, Reels, Shopping, Filters, Image edits, Multi-photo carousels, collages and much more! Even if you are a beginner, this class will be fine for you. It might feel a little fast pace but I am here to answer any questions. You do, however, have to at least sign up for Instagram and have played around with it for a little.
