Dates & Times: Six-Week Course! Every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm February 4 - March 18, 2025 Figure drawing for teens! Do you know a student who is ready to take their drawing and colouring to the next level? Discover how to draw poses and gestures while honing your anatomy drawing skills. With the use of graphite, charcoal, artist-quality pencil colours and markers, Ashley Gaboury will guide students on their illustrative journey. This class is ideal for students who want to explore the fundamentals of figure drawing and develop original character designs in an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere. This six-week workshop has a full class plan to help all the students with their art while still giving each student one-on-one instruction so they understand further. This series is ideal for developing skills and building a dynamic portfolio. Sessions can be repeated as Ashley will work with each student at their skill level and help them to grow their unique style while using the elements and principles of art and design. Each "Teen Drawing" course will focus on various subjects including animals, portraits, figure drawing, character design, fantasy, and open projects. This course focuses on figure drawing and character design. Please see the supply list provided. In this session, we will concentrate on building an understanding of anatomy and gesture.
