A single oil primed irregular weave linen for landscapes.
C15SP Claessens Belgian linen is a medium textured, irregular weave linen with one coat of oil priming to allow more visible texture. The surface has little to no absorbency and is slightly slick which allows for greater paint manipulation and building of layers while colors stay true and luminous.
FEATURES of Claessens C15SP:
- A medium texture, irregular weave linen ideal for landscape painting
- Sized twice with a synthetic adhesive for strength & protection from acidic oils
- One coat of oil primer to allow more texture; zinc white bound with linseed oil finished, with titanium white
- 80 TPI and 13.12 oz primed
