(Swinton's Art Supplies) Levels: All Levels of students Instructor: Lori Lukasewich Mediums Welcome: Oil or Acrylic Supply List: Please view the supply list at checkout or on our “Art Workshops” page. Take the guesswork out of colour mixing and learn how to create clean, intentional, and consistent colour in your paintings. In this two-day workshop, instructor Lori Lukasewich will help demystify the process of mixing colour, giving you a clearer understanding of how, why, and when to mix colours to achieve the results you want. Rather than relying on trial and error, you'll learn practical approaches that can make colour mixing more predictable and improve both your paintings and your overall painting experience. Which whites should you use and when? What role does white play in a mixture? When is black useful, which blacks should you choose, and when should you avoid it? Through demonstrations, discussion, and hands-on painting, you'll develop a stronger understanding of your palette and learn techniques you can continue applying to your own work long after the workshop. Whether you're newer to painting or an experienced artist looking to strengthen your understanding of colour, this workshop is designed to give you practical tools for mixing colour with greater confidence, control, and consistency. Supply List: Please view the supply list at checkout or on our “Art Workshops” page.
