(Swinton's Art Supplies) Levels: Beginner - Intermediate Instructor: Peter Potapoff Mediums Welcome: Acrylic This workshop is designed to introduce students to all the basics of acrylic painting. You will learn about different techniques in photo transfer to a painting support, colour mixing, lighting, values and more. With all this knowledge, you will create your own masterpiece of an Evening Grosbeak. This is meant to be a fun and relaxed weekend where you can be creative and enhance your artistic skills and confidence in a safe and comfortable environment. Procedure From the very beginning, the instructor will provide ongoing demos to lead you through the painting to completion. Working step by step, following the instructor's demos, you will develop a solid foundation on which to build your artistic skills. By the end of this weekend workshop, you will walk out of the studio with a completed 11 x 14-inch ready-to-hang painting.
