Christine is known for her moody, atmospheric oil paintings inspired by Saskatchewan’s famous Land of the Living Skies. Drawing from both impressionism and tonalism, she captures the quiet beauty of wide-open prairie landscapes with expressive brushwork and palette knife passages. Enjoy a talk + Q&A about her painting process, techniques, and artistic mindset—including how she creates atmosphere in a landscape, what she’s learned from years of painting outdoors, and what it takes to build a sustainable career as an artist.
